The train was inaugurated in October 2023 and has become a source of pride for Indonesia. Its route runs from Halim (East Jakarta) to Padalarang (West Bandung), covering a total distance of approximately 142.3 km. At Padalarang, passengers can continue with a feeder train or other transportation to downtown Bandung. Although it doesn't go directly to Bandung station, access is fairly easy.
